This article will guide you through the process of setting up the Faith Teams integration with Tithely. The integration allows transactions to be pushed seamlessly from Tithely to Faith Teams.
Update Users & Access in Faith Teams
- Log into your Faith Teams account.
- Navigate to Users & Access
- Locate your user and add Contributions as a permission.
- Choose or create a default fund in Faith Teams if needed.
Disconnect Your 1.0 Integration
- Log into Tithely.
- Go to Giving and click Back to Tithely 1.0.
- When you're in 1.0, select Giving. Then select Integrations.
- Locate your Faith Teams integration and click Disconnect.
Note: This may already be disconnected.
Set Up Your 2.0 Faith Teams Integration
- Log into Tithely.
- Select Global Settings and then Integrations.
- Locate the Faith Teams Integration and click Install to begin the setup process.
- Follow the steps to get connected. Ensure you are using the same API Permissions set up earlier.
- Select the default fund you previously created or chose.
If funds do not populate immediately, click “refresh your funds.” - Select your sending method: "Daily" or "Deposit."
Set Up Funds for Proper Donation Flow
- Click on your Campus on the left-hand side of your screen.
- Click Connect Funds. If no funds populate, click the "Refresh" button.
- Match Tithely funds with Faith Teams funds using the dropdown menu.
Ensure all funds are connected to avoid defaulting to the predetermined Default Fund. - Click Connect Donors.
- Search for donors and enter their Faith Teams ID.
- Click Update Donor Mappings.
Notes
- Test Transaction: You will see one daily or deposit transaction (based on your sending method) come over as a test to ensure the integration is working.
- Historical Transactions: When you enable the new Faith Teams integration, it will not automatically bring in any other previous transactions (beyond the single one mentioned above). However, if you disable and then re-enable the integration it will being in the last 32 days of transactions which could produce duplicates. If you disable the new integration once you are more than one month away from the initial enablement when you enable it back it will only send through any transactions not yet sent.
- Nightly Sync: The night after connecting your integration, it will send all successful transactions made after the connection time.
