How to Disable Integrations in Tithely Before Canceling Your Account

As part of the cancellation process, we strongly recommend disabling any third-party integrations you've connected to your Tithely products. This step is essential to ensure the security of your data and prevent any unauthorized access after your account is closed.

Why Disable Integrations?

  • Data Protection: Disabling integrations stops the flow of information between Tithely and other platforms, safeguarding your sensitive church and member data.
  • Prevent Unauthorized Access: Some integrations may retain access tokens or permissions even after your Tithely account is canceled. Disabling them eliminates this risk.
  • Smooth Transition: If you're moving to a new platform, disabling integrations in Tithely helps avoid conflicts or duplication of data.

Steps to Disable Integrations

  1. Login to your Tithely account.
  2. Navigate to Global Settings and select Integrations.
  3. On the Integrations page, you'll see a list of potential integrations.
If an integration shows "Install," it has never been set up and you can ignore it.
If an integration shows "Configure," it might be active.
To disable an integration, click the trash can icon on any active integration.
  4. Confirm the deletion by clicking OK on the popup.

Check for Legacy Integrations:

  1. Click on the View Legacy Integrations button. This will take you to the 1.0 version of Tithely, where older integrations might be located.
  2. If you have any legacy integrations, such as the Salvation Army API connection. Select the integration.
  3. Click Disconnect to disable the legacy integration.
