Keeping your church's member information up to date is crucial for effective communication and management. Tithely Tip
After updating the users information in People, it will take a few minutes to reflect the chane in the Giving section of Tithely.
How to Edit a Person in People
- Login to your Tithely Admin account.
- Select People from the left-hand menu.
- You can find the person whose contact details you'd like to edit using the search bar.
- Click the contact icon. The person's contact information will appear on the right.
- Click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner.
- Select Edit.
- Make the desired changes.
Note: If a user is designated as the primary member of a household, you must either delete the entire household or reassign the primary member role to a different household member before you can delete the user's profile. - Click the Save Changes button.
Important Note About Donor Information
When you update a donor’s information (such as name, email, or address) in the Tithely Admin Dashboard, those changes do not update the donor's personal Tithely account.
This means:

Admins will see the updated info on their side.

Donors will still see their original information when they log into their own Tithely account—unless they update it themselves.
