How to Remove an Admin

Periodically reviewing and managing your Tithely Admins is a great way to ensure the security of your account and ensure only the right people have access to your accounts. In this article we will go over how to remove an admin.

How to Remove an Admin: 

  1. Log into Tithely as an Account Owner.
    Note: Admins are able to remove other admins but not the account owner.
  2. Select Global Settings.
  3. Select My Organizations.
  4. Select Users
  5. Select the Trash Can next to the user you would like to delete. 
  6. Confirm the action. 

The user will be deleted right away. This user can be added back using the steps in the How to Add an Admin and Edit Permissions in Tithely article. 

 

Tithely Tip

If the admin you would like to remove has Events or Admin Batch Giving Permissions you will need to remove them from the 1.0 space as well. It is good practice to check the 1.0 space to ensure the admin is completely removed from the account.

 

How to Remove an Admin From 1.0:

  1. Log into Tithely as the Account Owner.
    Note: Only the account owner can edit administrative permissions in 1.0.
  2. Select Global Settings the person icon. 
  3. Select Back to 1.0.
  4. Select Manage Administrators
  5. Select Remove next to the Admin you would like to remove. 
  6. Confirm decision. 
    Note: This will immediately remove the admin for the church account.
