Verifying Your Facebook Page for Your App

Sometimes connecting your Facebook page to your app can be tricky. Your app dashboard requires your Facebook page to be set to Public and for your page to be verified. Follow these simple steps to verify your Facebook Page and boost your online presence today.

How to Verify Your Facebook Account:

  1. Log in to your church's Facebook Account.

  2. Click Settings at the top of your Page.

  3. From General, click Page Verification.

  4. Click Verify this Page, then click Get Started.

  5. Enter a publicly listed phone number for your business, your country, and your language.

  6. Click Call Me Now to allow Facebook to call you with a verification code.

  7. Enter the 4-digit verification code and click Continue.

  8. Follow the Steps that the Verification Code prompts you to do.

  9. After Facebook receives your verification code or business document, Facebook will review your info to confirm that it matches public records. You will then receive a notification or email about your verification status within a few days. 

How to Verify a Facebook Page (i.e., Organization, business page):

If you prefer to verify your Page with a business document, follow the steps above, then proceed with the following:

  1. Click Verify This Page With Documents at the bottom left of the window that appears. 

  2. Upload a picture of an official document showing your business name and address.

  3. After Facebook receives your verification code or business document, Facebook will review your info to confirm that it matches public records. You will receive a notification or email about your verification status within a few days.
