Change/Reset a User Password in Sites

How to reset your password in the event you can't login to your site, how to change your password, and how to change the password for another website user as an administrator on sites. 

User Permissions needed to access Sites
Account Owner, Admin, or Limited Access Users with permissions granted for Sites and Admin Permissions granted on the Tithely Site. If you have additional questions, please reference this article.

How to Reset Your Password

If you've forgotten your password and you need to reset it, follow the below instructions.

  1. Navigate to the Login page of your website (yourwebsite.com/login)

  2. Click Forgot Your Password?

3. Type in your email address and hit Submit.

4. You will then be emailed with instructions on how to update your password.

If you forget the email address that your account is under, you can ask another Site Admin to figure out what your account email is, or you can contact Tithe.ly support, and we can help you out.

How to Change Your Password

  1. Login to your Tithely account and select Sites from the left menu. Or login to your site directly.
  2. Click on your profile icon at the top right corner of your website. Select Change Password from the dropdown.

  3. Enter your new password here and Save Password.

Change a User Password as an Admin

If a user has forgotten their password and needs to reset it, as an administrator of the website, you can reset passwords for them. Follow the below instructions.

  1. Login to your Tithely account and select Sites from the left menu. Or login to your site directly.
  2. Click on the Admin button at the top right of your website and select People/Users from the dropdown.
  3. Click the more option (3 dots) next to the user you'd like to change the password for.
    You can either send them a login email or Select Edit from the dropdown to set a new password for them.

  4. Select Change Password from the left menu.
  5. Enter the new password and click Save Password.
