Add Sermon Series to Your Church App

Summary: Enhance your church app by integrating audio sermons through RSS feeds or manual uploads, allowing your congregation to listen to sermons and podcasts anytime.

Before You Begin

  • You must have an Admin account to access the Apps dashboard.

  • RSS Feeds: Ensure your RSS feed URL is valid. The feed must pass specific criteria (see Troubleshooting below).

  • Manual Uploads: MP3 files must be less than 50 MB.

  • Tithely Sites Tip: If using Tithely Sites, the RSS feed will only populate sermons less than one year old.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • My RSS Feed won't save: Your feed is likely invalid. Use RSSBoard Validator or W3C Validator to ensure your feed meets the necessary criteria for the Church App.

  • My MP3 file won't upload: The file may be too large. The Church App has a strict limit of 50 MB per file (suggested size 5-40 MB).

  • Missing sermons in the app: If using a Tithely Sites feed, sermons older than one year are automatically excluded from the RSS feed and will not appear in the app.
