Summary: This guide explains how to filter your bank deposits by a specific date range to view and export all the individual transactions included in those deposits.
Before You Begin
- You must have Admin access to your Tithely account.
- You must apply both a start date ("On or After") and an end date ("On or Before") to activate the transaction view.
- If you are part of a multi-location organization, you must filter to a single location on the Bank Deposits screen before applying a date filter.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Sign in to get started at https://app.tithely.com/login.
- Click on Giving > Bank Deposits in the left-hand menu of your admin dashboard.
-
Click the Filter button, then select the Date option. Note: If the proper filters are not selected the View Transactions button from step 4 will be inactive.
- Enter your start and end dates into the 'Funds Available On or After' and 'Funds Available On or Before' fields. Click the Apply button to continue. Note: The maximum range is 45 days.
-
Click the 'View All Transactions' button that appears at the top right of the deposit list. This will take you to a detailed list of every transaction from the deposits in your selected date range.
- Add additional filters (e.g., by Fund, Location, Amount) to further refine your search.
-
Customize the data columns by clicking the Columns icon (three vertical dots) and selecting the information you want to see, such as "Fund Name" or "Covered Fees."
-
Click the Export button to download a report of the transactions. The export will include all your applied filters and column customizations.
Clear the filter when you are finished by clicking the 'Confirm' on the "Clear Bank Deposit Date Filter" pop up on the screen.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
- Why is the 'View All Transactions' button missing? This button only appears after you have successfully applied a date filter with both a start and an end date. For multi-location organizations, you must also apply a location filter first.
- Why can't I filter for more than 45 days at a time? The 45-day limit ensures the system runs quickly and efficiently when loading large amounts of transaction data. To review a longer period, you must filter and export in separate 45-day increments.
- Why are no transactions showing after I add another date filter? Be careful not to apply conflicting filters. For example, if your bank deposit filter is for September 2025, adding a transaction date filter for August 2025 will show no results, because none of the transactions in those deposits were created in August.
