Viewing Your Bank Deposit Reports

Tithely's Bank Deposit Reports feature simplifies financial management for your church, offering an easy way to access and manage giving data. Whether you need to review summaries, view transactions, export data, reconcile deposits, or customize reports, this guide provides clear, step-by-step instructions. Follow along to enhance your financial record-keeping and streamline your church's financial operations with Tithely.

Account Owner, Admin, or Limited Access with access granted to the Giving Product. If you have additional questions please reference this article.

How to View Summary Details of a Bank Deposit Report

  1. Select Giving.
  2. Select Bank Deposits from the Giving menu.
  3. Locate the bank deposit you'd like to view. Click on the bank deposit to view a summary of the bank deposit.

How to View the Transactions of a Bank Deposit Report

  1. Select Giving.
  2. Select Bank Deposits from the Giving menu.
  3. Locate the bank deposit you'd like to view.

  4. Click on the bank deposit to view a summary of the bank deposit.

  • On the deposit details card, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Click the View All Transactions button to view transactions of a bank deposit.

How to Export a CSV of a Bank Deposit

  1. Select Giving.

  2. Select Bank Deposits from the Giving menu.

  3. Find the bank deposit you'd like to view. Click on the bank deposit to view a summary of the bank deposit.

  4. On the Deposit card, click the Download CSV button.

    A pop-up may appear asking you "Do you want to allow downloads on “app.tithely.com”?" Select Allow.

  5. A file will download to your computer. Depending on your settings, this may go to your Downloads folder, Desktop or other pre-selected location.

How to Export a Specific Date Range of Bank Deposits

  1. Select Giving.

  2. Select Bank Deposits from the Giving menu.

  3. Click the +Filter button.

  4. Select your Date Range and click the Apply button.

  5. Click the download icon in the upper right corner of the page.

How to Mark a Deposit as Reconciled

  1. Select Giving on the left-hand menu.

  2. Select Bank Deposits from the Giving menu.

  3. Find the bank deposit you'd like to view. Click on the bank deposit to view a summary of the bank deposit.

  4. Click the Mark as Done! button to mark a deposit as reconciled.

    When a deposit has been marked as reconciled, it will have a green check mark in place of the 'Mark as Done!' square and the reconciled date on the right.

How to Customize the Bank Deposit Download

To tailor the bank deposit download to your specific needs, follow these steps:

  1. Log into Tithely.
  2. Select Giving.
  3. Select Bank Deposits.
  4. Select the deposit you would like to customize.
    Note: This will need to be done individually for each deposit.
  5. On the right, in the Transactions card. Select the Arrow Icon in the top right.
  6. While viewing the transactions, select the Columns icon at the top right.
  7. Select the fields you would like to display or hide for this deposit.
  8. Select +Filter.
  9. Enter a Date Range.
    Note: This date should correlate with the deposit you are viewing.
  10. Select Apply.
  11. Select Download CSV icon in the top right to download your customized deposit report.
  12. A pop-up may appear asking you "Do you want to allow downloads on “app.tithely.com”?" Select Allow.
  13. A file will download to your computer. Depending on your settings, this may go to your Downloads folder, Desktop or other pre-selected location.
