How to Log In to My Tithely Donor Account and Give To My Church

Readers will learn step-by-step instructions for accessing their accounts via the Tithely Giving app, church websites, and desktop, as well as how to navigate the donation process and troubleshoot common issues like error codes. Forgot Your Password? Reset it by following these instructions or encounter an error (ex: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'id') see bottom of article for instructions. 

Log Into Donor Account Using the App

  1. Download the Tithely Giving App on your mobile device 
    Choose the version that matches your device:

    If you prefer, you can also search for Tithely in your smartphone's app store.

  2. Open the Tithely Giving App on your phone and Click Sign In.
  3. Enter your Phone Number or Email and you'll receive a Code to Log In. 

Didn't get a code or encountering a 'Phone Number in Use' alert while setting up a Tithely Giving account Email support@tithe.ly for help.

Find Your Home Church

Once you are all signed in, use the search box within the app to find your home church. Be sure to type out the full name, looking for the matching zip code. Note: If you're near your church's physical location and can't locate it in the app, ensure that location settings are enabled on your device. With these settings on, tap the Find Nearest Church option.
 

How to Make a Donation (App)

Once you've found your church, you're ready to make your donation.
 

  1. Once you download and Log In to the Tithely Giving App, search your Churches Name (if you haven't already).
  2. Then select Give or Give Now to get started.
  3. Fill out the Giving Form making sure to fill out all required information:
    • Giving Amount
    • Giving Fund
    • Recurring Frequency and Date
    • Contact Details
    • Payment Method
    • Memo or Extra Details (If available)
  4. Select the Give button at the bottom when finished.  
  5. You will get a confirmation screen when your gift has been processed!
     

Log Into Donor Account from Your Church Website

  1. Find your Churches Website and locate the Give page.
  2. Click the Give button on your Church Website.
  3. Click the Log In/Sign up button in the top right corner and enter your Log In information.

Log Into Donor Account Using Your Desktop

  1. Go to give.tithe.ly and click Log In button at the top right hand corner.
  2. Locate the Log In button in the top-right corner of the Giving Form.

  3. The Log In button leads to many options to choose from:

    Phone Verification: Use your phone number for Signing Up or Logging In. If you are signing up, using your phone number is recommended as it simplifies future logins.

    Emailed Link: Log In or Sign Up using an email sent to the email address you enter.

    Google or Apple ID: Log In using your Google or Apple accounts for a convenient sign-in experience.

    Facebook: Log In using your Facebook accounts for a convenient sign-in experience.

    Email / Password Combination: Login In or Sign Up using an Email / Password combination. Note: The email used for Sign Up will be used for sending tax statements, so ensure to use a valid email address.

  4. Search in Find a Church (avoid spelling mistakes), then your churches Giving Form will load with your Profile Icon in the top-right corner, indicating that you are now fully logged in.

How to Make a Donation (Desktop)

Once you've found your church, you're ready to make your donation. 

 

  1. Go to give.tithe.ly and search under Find My Church or Sign Up (Top right corner).  
  2. Once you select the Churches Name then select Give to get started.
  3. Next fill out the Giving Form making sure to fill out all required information.
    1. Giving Amount
    2. Giving Fund
    3. Recurring Frequency and Date
    4. Contact Details
    5. Payment Method
    6. Memo or Extra Details (If available)
  4. Finally select the Give button at the bottom when finished.  

You will get a confirmation screen when your gift has been processed! 

Logging into the Admin Portal

If you encounter an error (ex: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'id') or see one of these login screens, it's possible you're in the Admin Portal of Tithely. Follow these steps to get back to your donor account.

  1. Log Out of the Admin Portal: If you're in the admin portal, you'll need to log out first. Look for the logout option in the upper right-hand corner and click on it.
  2. Log In to Your Donor Account:
    1. Visit give.tithe.ly to Log In to your Donor Account.
    2. Log into your Tithely Donor Account by clicking the Log In/Sign up buttons in the top right corner and entering your Login information.

How To Sign Out

If you ever need to log out of the Giving Form, you can do so by following these simple steps:

  1. Select your Profile icon. Note: that this button will either display your initials or the profile picture currently set for your account.
  2. Select Sign Out.
