Joining a group within the Church App - enhances your connection to your church community, allowing you to receive important updates, notifications, and information tailored to your specific group. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to download the app, search for your church, and opt into or manage group notifications directly from your mobile device. Follow the instructions below to get started and ensure you stay informed and engaged with your church’s activities.
Joining A Group From The App
- Download the Church App from the Apple or Google Play Store.
- Launch the Church App app from your mobile device.
- Search for your church.
- Select your church's account.
- Upon launching the church's app, select Allow Push Notifications.
Note: If push notifications are not enabled even after joining a group, a user will not receive notifications. They can update this setting in the settings of their mobile device. - If groups are set up already, a user can opt-in right away to groups via a pop-up.
- To opt-in or update group preferences as a user, select the Menu.
- Select Settings.
- Select Push Notification by toggling On/Off.
- Toggle On/Off for each notification you would like to receive.
