Creating Secondary Admin Access for Messaging

INTERNAL NOTE: Needs to be updated to reflect new admin roles. 

Secondary admins can manage contacts and send SMS and emails in the Messaging App. Each account only includes one phone number and email therefore, the secondary admin will not be assigned a unique phone number for SMS.

How to Add a Limited Access User for Messaging

  1. Log into your Tithely Admin account.

  2. Go to Global Settings (Testing_color__1_.png)

  3. Select My Organization

  4. Select Users

  5. Click Add User +

  6. Ensure that you select Messaging as a permission, and then click Save changes.

    ❗ Important Note: New administrators will receive an automated email informing them they have been given access. The email will include a unique link for them to log into their Tithely account and begin using Tithely Messaging.

 

Does a Secondary Admin Already Exist?

If your secondary admin has existing permissions, please ensure that the secondary admin has been added as a contact in People.

Please Note: If the above steps 1-4 were followed, the contact will be automatically be added to People.

 

How Will It Look if Both Admins Send Messages to the Same Contact?

When two admins send messages to the same contact,  the sender's initials are displayed on the right side of the sent message.
