How Cancellation Reimbursements Works

Summary: Understand exactly what happens to your account and payments when you cancel or modify your subscription. This guide explains how prorated credits, refunds, and subscription changes are handled.

Before You Begin

  • In-Product Cancellations: The processes outlined below apply to all customers who initiate their cancellation directly within the product.

  • Processing Times: If you are receiving a full refund to your payment method, please note that it may take some time for the funds to process and fully appear on your bank statement.

How Cancellations and Changes are Processed

Because there are no manual steps required to calculate refunds, the system handles cancellations automatically based on the following rules:

  • Immediate Loss of Access: Cancellations are effective immediately. As soon as you confirm your cancellation, your access to the canceled services is removed right away.

  • Prorated Credits: When you cancel, the system automatically calculates a prorated credit for the exact amount of unused time remaining in your billing cycle.

  • Canceling Everything: If you cancel your entire account/all active subscriptions, the prorated credit for your unused time will be issued as a refund directly to your original payment method.

  • Switching Subscriptions: If you are simply changing your subscription, the system treats this as canceling your current plan and re-subscribing to your new desired plan. The prorated credit from your old plan is automatically applied toward the cost of the new subscription.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • Why did I lose access to my tools immediately? Unlike some platforms that let you finish out the month, our cancellations take effect immediately. Access is removed the moment you cancel, which is why you are issued a prorated credit for the unused time.

  • How does the system calculate my refund? The system calculates a precise, pro-rated refund based on the unused time left in your billing period at the exact time you cancel within the product.

  • Why haven't I received my refund to my bank account yet? If you canceled everything and are owed a refund to your original payment method, processing times can vary. Please allow some additional time for the refund to be processed and for your bank to reflect the funds on your statement.
