Can We Use Our Own Church Domain Name in Messaging Emails

For churches looking to personalize their communication through Tithely Messaging, understanding the options for email addresses is essential. While custom domain usage is not currently supported for Messaging, Tithely offers a tailored alternative.

Messaging Email Domain Options:

  • Custom Domains: Tithely Messaging does not allow the use of personal or church-specific domains for messaging purposes.
  • Standard Domain Use: Churches can incorporate their name using the provided domain, @messaging.church. For example, if your church is named "First Baptist," your Messaging email address could be firstbaptist@messaging.church.

Steps For Creating Standard Domain:

  1. Select Messaging.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Communication.
  4. Enter desired name in the Messaging Email Address field.
  5. Select Save Changes.

This setup ensures that while your messages maintain a level of personalization with your church name, they also benefit from the reliability and recognition of the @messaging.church domain. Keep your community connected with a cohesive messaging strategy that reflects your church's identity.
