Following the August 21st Next event, you may have questions. Below are some answers regarding MinistrySafe.

Q: What is MinistrySafe?

A: MinistrySafe provides industry-leading Background Checks and sexual abuse awareness training designed specifically for churches and ministries.

Q: How is MinistrySafe integrated into Tithely?

A: You can run Background Checks and assign abuse prevention training directly from a person’s profile in Tithely Church Management—no separate logins or platforms required.

Q: Can I connect an existing MinistrySafe account to Tithely?

A: No. Only MinistrySafe accounts that are newly created through the Tithely ChMS integration can be connected. Previously existing MinistrySafe accounts cannot be integrated or used in connection with Tithely.

Q: Is the Child Safety Training the same for everyone?

A: No. MinistrySafe’s Child Safety Training is role-specific, so volunteers and staff receive relevant, scenario-based training tailored to their responsibilities.

Q: Can I track who has completed their Child Safety Training?

A: Yes. You can view competition status through MinistrySafe via the Tithely and MinistrySafe Integration.

Q: Do Background Checks and Child Safety Training cost extra?

A: Yes, there is an additional per-check and per-training fee, but the integration with MinistrySafe is included with Breeze or Tithely Church Management at no extra platform cost.

Q: What happens if a Background Check invitation expires?

A: If a Background Check invitation times out after 14 days, the member is not charged. However, they will need to resubmit the Background Check to complete the process.
