Q: Will Groups be available to all customers?
A: The new Groups functionality will be available very soon to all customers who have signed up for the new 3.0 all-in-one experience since mid-May. It will be made available to Breeze customers who have created a Church App from the Breeze extensions page at a later date.. Tithely customers will continue to use Tithely Groups.
Q: What can I use Groups for?
A: Groups can be used for small groups, Bible studies, ministry teams, youth events, volunteer teams—any setting where you want to organize people and keep them connected.
Q: How do I add members to a group?
A: You can add members manually, bulk-add via tags, or allow people to join directly through your church app.
Q: Can members communicate with each other inside Groups?
A: Yes. Through the church app, each group has a built-in group chat so members can connect, share prayer requests, and encourage one another in real time.
Q: Is there a way for the public to discover groups?
A: Yes. Through the church app, members can browse and join public groups or request to join private ones.
Q: Can I send messages to an entire group at once?
A: Absolutely. Church Admins can send group-wide text messages or emails directly from the Groups dashboard.
Q: Wait, I see Groups in my Tithely account already - what are they talking about?
A: This update builds Groups into our Breeze platform. If you already see Groups in your account, then that is because you access groups from your Tithely account.
Q: I have Breeze but not Tithely, do I have to go sign up for Tithely to get Groups?
A: You should not sign up for Tithely in order to get this update if you are a Breeze customer. This will be made available to Breeze customers at a later date. The value of waiting is that this update allows Breeze customers to use Breeze People and Groups data.
Q: I have Breeze but not Tithely, I want Groups and Apps. Do I have to go sign up for Tithely to get an App?
A: You should not sign up for Tithely in order to get this update if you are a Breeze customer. This will be made available to Breeze customers later. The value of waiting is that this update allows Breeze customers to use Breeze People and Groups data.
