Getting Started With Your Donor Account (Desktop)

This article guides church donors through the process of managing their accounts on desktop, specifically focusing on signing up and logging in. It outlines how to easily create a new Tithely donor account directly through the giving form, offering various convenient access options like phone verification, emailed links, or social media logins. Readers will also learn how to successfully log in and navigate to their church's giving form to make a donation after account creation.

Open the Giving Form

1. If your church has not provided a link, simply visit give.tithe.ly to get started!
2. To begin the Log In or Sign Up flow, locate the buttons in the top-right corner of the Giving Form. 
   
    

Accessing Your Donor Account

Both the Sign Up and Log In buttons lead to similar flows, giving you options to choose from:

• Phone Verification: Use your phone number for Signing Up or Logging In. If you are signing up, using your phone number is recommended as it simplifies future logins.
• Emailed Link: Log In or Sign Up using an email sent to the email address you enter.
• Google or Apple ID: Log In using your Google or Apple accounts for a convenient sign-in experience.
• Facebook: Log In using your Facebook accounts for a convenient sign-in experience.
• Email / Password Combination: Login In or Sign Up using an Email / Password combination. Note: The email used for Sign Up will be used for sending tax statements, so ensure to use a valid email address. 
   

Signing Up for a Donor Account 

1. Select Sign Up.
2. Enter an Email and a Password.
3. Fill in First Name and Last Name.
4. Create a four digit Pin.
5. Confirm your four digit Pin.
6. Enter your Phone Number.

7. Select Send Verification Message.

   

    

Logging Into Your Donor Account

Once successfully logged in, search your church's name (avoid spelling mistakes), then your churches Giving Form will load with your profile icon in the top-right corner, indicating that you are now fully logged in.
 

How to Make a Donation (Desktop)

Once you've found your church, you're ready to make your donation. 

1. Go to give.tithe.ly and search under Find My Church or Sign Up (Top right corner).  
2. Once you select the Churches Name then select Give to get started.
3. Next fill out the Giving Form making sure to fill out all required information.
   1. Giving Amount
   2. Giving Fund
   3. Recurring Frequency and Date
   4. Contact Details
   5. Payment Method
   6. Memo or Extra Details (If available)
4. Finally select the Give button at the bottom when finished.  

You will get a confirmation screen when your gift has been processed!
