This article outlines the process for donors when donating via Text Giving.
1. Text “Give” to your church’s Text Giving number.
2. You will receive a response like the one below:
Hi there! Click here (https://tithe.ly/give?sms=1&church_id=(churchID)num=(yourphonenumber) to get set up for text giving to New City Church. It's quick and easy!
Do NOT share this link since it is unique to your account.
3. Select the above link to log in to your account and choose a payment method. If this is your first time using Tithe.ly, you can also create your account via the texted link.
It is best practice to have an established account with payment methods already added prior to logging in via Text Giving.
4. Once you've connected your account, close out of the web browser and return to your text messages.
The texted link is not intended to be donated from. This link is only to log in and connect your donor account to your phone number.
5. Text an amount to donate:
That's all!
Moving forward, you will simply text your donation details.
If you need to update your payment method used for Text Giving, you can navigate back to the original intro link we sent (if you still have it).
If you no longer have that link, you need to reach out to Support (support@tithe.ly) to get a new link to log in and select a different payment method.
