Adjusting giving funds can be useful when a donor makes a donation to the wrong fund and requests a change. We advise updating giving funds only upon the donor's request to ensure accuracy. To update the giving fund, please access the Tithely 1.0 area. Adjusting Funds in 1.0
- Log into Tithely as an Admin.
- Select Giving.
- Select Back to Tithe.ly 1.0.
- Select Giving.
- Select Giving Statements.
- Select View Giving Statements.
- Locate the transaction you would like to adjust.
- Select the Pencil Icon under the name of the donor.
- Select the Giving Type.
- Select Save.
Note: These changes will take effect immediately.
You have successfully adjusted the Giving Type (Fund) for your donor's transaction. It's important to note that there may be tax implications for your donors when updating funds from a tax-deductible to non-tax-deductible funds.
