Customizing Your Site Page Headers

Before You Begin

  • You must have Admin access to edit page headers.

  • Video Backgrounds: A Vimeo PRO account is required for a video to play in the background. If you do not have a Vimeo PRO account, the video will display as a static image.

  • Image Resolution: For videos, we recommend 720p or less to help with loading times.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • How do I hide an image without deleting it? When using the Slideshow feature, click the "eye" icon on an image in the list to toggle it off. This removes it from the rotation without deleting the file.

  • Which image shows when I share my site? The image uploaded to the header (or the first image in the slideshow) is used as the preview image when sharing the Site via iMessage or social media.

  • Why isn't my video playing? Ensure you have a Vimeo PRO account. Standard Vimeo or YouTube links may not autoplay as backgrounds and might revert to a static image.

  • My header is a solid color, how do I see my image? Check your Overlay Color and Opacity settings in the Style tab. If Opacity is set to 100%, it will cover your background image completely. Lower the opacity to reveal the image.
