The Tithely Sites Live Stream feature allows churches to easily embed virtual events on their website using YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook. With the Livestream feature, website visitors can view your live stream with just one click, participate in a chat with other viewers, easily give via Tithely, and share your stream with friends on Facebook and Twitter.
You can also schedule your live stream, add your video link from Facebook, YouTube, or Vimeo, display a countdown at the top of your website, share scripture or notes from your sermon, and customize the look and feel of your live stream in Site Design. Keep reading for step-by-step instructions on how to use these features to enhance your church's live stream experience.

Please Note: Custom YouTube Links, live links, or links to the channel will not work. You must use the unique link for your video. See our guide on How to Find Your Video URL.
If your streaming service isn't supported using links (as described above), use the "Switch to Custom iFrame" button and embed your video. Important, if you plan on using your Tithely Site as your livestream source in the Church App, the iframe method is not compatible, you must use the livestream URL method. -

You can add a menu item and link it to /live to create an easy access route to your live streams for website visitors. - Service Title

For example, if the person shows up 10 minutes after the start time, the video will start playing at the 10-minute mark. This will help people stay in sync with others in the Chat window. If set to “Off” your video will always start from the beginning. -
Topbar Countdown
If set to “On,” a countdown timer will be added to the topbar area of your site.
Please Note: If chat is enabled, a "Join chat" button will appear 30 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled live stream. When the countdown has ended the button will update to "Watch Now." -

"Scripture” can be changed to a word of choice within the Live Stream Design Settings. More details below on How to customize the Text area (Scripture) label. -
