Plan Your Visit allows visitors to your website to plan a visit to one of your weekly services.
Visitors will be asked to complete the following questions:
- How many people will be attending?
- What is your first and last name?
- What is your email address?
- What is your phone number?
- Which location would you like to attend?
- Select the date you would like to attend.
- Which service and time would you like to attend?
All the above information is gathered within the feature for you to reference.
Please note: We can not export an attendance list at this time.
Below are the steps to activate and add the feature to your Tithely Site.
Step 1: Activate the Feature on Your Tithely Site
User Permissions needed to access Sites
Account Owner, Admin, Limited Acess User with permissions granted for Sites, or Admin Permissions granted directly on the Tithely Site. If you have additional questions, please reference this article.
You will need to start by activating the Plan Your Visit feature on your website. Click here to learn how.
Step 2: Add Your Location(s)

Login to your site.

Click on the Admin button at the top right of your website and select Plan Your Visit from the dropdown.

Select Locations from the left-hand menu.

From here, you will add your church's locations.
Include the name of the location, address and contact information.
Step 3: Add Your Services

Login to your site.

Click on the Admin button at the top right of your website and select Plan Your Visit from the dropdown.

Select Services from the left-hand menu.

From here, you will add your services.
Include the service title, location, date of the week, time and available spots.
Please Note: A service only needs to be added once and it will repeat each week on the same day of the week and time.
Step 4: Update the Details for Plan Your Visit Feature
There are a few areas within the feature that you can update. Those include: the Exit Pop-up Message, Thank You Pop-up and where Plan Your Visit appears on the Site.

Login to your site.

Click on the Admin button at the top right of your website and select Plan Your Visit from the dropdown (it will only display if the feature is turned on).

Make note of the left-hand menu which includes: Visits, Services, Display, Exit Pop-up, Thank You Pop-up, Locations, Notifications and Reviews.

Visits: This area allows you to view the details of who has planned a visit. Use the filters in the upper right of this section to view visitors for a specific location or service, or all visits.

Display: Select where you would like to display Plan Your Visit on your website. There are three options:
a) Topbar
b) Bottom Left Button
c) Main Menu -
Exit Pop-up: When enabled, this pop-up appears when a visitor tries to leave the page.

Thank You: This text will display in the pop-up after a visitor has planned their visit, and also in an email that will be sent to them.

Notifications: Set an email that will be notified of visit details when a visit is planned.
You can add multiple email addresses to be notified, simply separate the emails with a comma or semicolon. Ex: pastor@yourchurch.com, assistant@yourchurch.com, email@yourchurch.com
Please Note: The person planning the visit will also receive a notification.
