How to Edit or Delete Gifts Entered Through Admin Batch Giving

Managing donations made through collection plates or offline methods should be just as straightforward as online giving. With Tithely, you can effortlessly track cash, check, and other offline donations, ensuring no contribution goes unnoticed.

If you need to make changes to a gift previously entered through Admin Batch Giving, simply follow the guide below to edit or delete the record from your Transactions menu.


How to Edit or Delete an Offline Transaction

  1. Navigate to Transactions Log into your Tithely account. Select Giving from the main menu, and then click on Transactions.

  2. Locate the Gift Scroll through your transaction list or use the filters to find the specific cash or check donation you wish to modify.

  3. Open Details Click on the transaction to view its details. A pane will appear on the right-hand side of your screen.

  4. Select Edit Look for the "Summary" section within the details pane. Click the Edit button located next to it.

  5. Make Your Changes From this screen, you can manage the donation in two ways:

    • To Edit: Update the Amount, Fund, Gift Date, or Memo. Once you have made your adjustments, click Save Changes.

    • To Delete: If you need to remove the record entirely, click the Delete Cash Entry button.


By following these steps, you can efficiently maintain accurate financial records for your church. Whether correcting a typo in a memo or removing a duplicate entry, the process is quick and handled directly within your Transactions list.
