Removing & Merging Duplicates

This may or may not apply to you, but depending on how your data was originally stored you may have duplicates within your system.

Eg. Stephen Smith may also be entered into the system as Steve Smith.

The import process doesn’t always pick this up as duplicates but there is a way to filter them out.

To do this we click People > All People > View > Duplicates

The system will then find any it believes is a duplicate.
Click on the “Merge with duplicate” and then click what fields you wish to merge. 

Be sure to search for these once you open your account, because the system will not automatically delete them.
