Tithely Transaction Fees and Subscription Pricing

Tithely's pricing structure is straightforward and transparent, ensuring no hidden fees or unexpected charges. This article outlines the costs associated with Tithely's Giving, including donations and transaction fees, as well as the pricing for our various products. You'll have a clear understanding of the financial aspects of using Tithely, with consistent processing rates and full disclosure of any charges.

Understanding Transaction Fees

The fees associated with processing credit and debit card transactions are made up of several components, one of which is called interchange fees. These fees are set by the card networks (like Visa and Mastercard) and are paid to the bank that issued the card. While Tithely collects these fees as part of the overall transaction cost, we don't keep this portion – it goes directly to the issuing bank.

Here is a list of the different services we provide and their associated costs:

Giving Transaction Fees 

You pay $0 for setup and $0 per month to use Tithely Giving. The Tithely per-transaction fees apply any time a payment (e.g., donation or gift) is processed on the Tithely platform via a credit card, debit card, or ACH/Bank (US Only).

UNITED STATES 🇺🇸

  • 2.9% + $0.30 per successful charge - VISA, MasterCard, Maestro, Discover, JCB, Union Pay, Diners

  • 3.5% + $0.30 per successful charge - American Express

  • 1% + $0.30 per successful charge - ACH/Bank Transfer

CANADA 🇨🇦

  • 2.9% + C$0.30 per successful charge - Visa, MasterCard, Maestro

  • 3.5% + C$0.30 per successful charge - American Express

  • 1% + C$0.30 per successful charge - EFT/Bank Transfer

AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺

  • 1.9% + AU$0.30 per successful charge - VISA, MasterCard, Maestro & American Express

NEW ZEALAND 🇳🇿

  • 2.9% + NZ$0.30 per successful charge - Visa, MasterCard & Maestro

  • 3.5% + NZ$0.30  per successful charge - American Express

UNITED KINGDOM 🇬🇧

  • 1.9% +30p per successful charge - Visa, MasterCard, Maestro & American Express

SINGAPORE 🇸🇬

  • 3.5% + SGD$0.50 per successful charge - Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and American Express

HONG KONG: 🇭🇰 

  • 3.5% + HK$2.35 per successful charge - Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, Discover and Diners Club

JAPAN  ðŸ‡¯ðŸ‡µ

  • 3.5% + Â¥30 per successful charge - Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, Discover and Diners Club

Upgrades

  • Text Giving - $19 per month subscription

    • For multi-campus churches, this subscription provides a dedicated text giving number for each location, all for the single $19 monthly fee.

  • Custom Church App - $89 per month subscription

  • Tithely Messaging - $19 per month and includes 500 text credits. Additional text credits will be packaged in bundles of 500 for $10.

  • Sites (Custom Church Website) - $19 per month subscription
  • Church Management - $72 per month subscription

You DO NOT pay extra for:

  • Settlements 

  • Deposit/transfers

  • Refund or chargebacks

  • PCI security

  • Kiosk capability

  • Transaction or deposit reporting

  • Recurring giving support

  • Automated credit card updater service

  • The ability for the donor to "cover the feesâ„¢"

  • Tax receipting

  • Customer service

  • Or anything else that you can think of!
