Adding your events to your app is a great way to keep all your church's information in one place. This allows your users to see upcoming events and easily register for them. You can learn more about creating an event that allows payments through Tithely in this article: Creating an Event.
Adding A Tithely Event
- Log into Tithely as an Admin.
- Select Apps.
- Select Events.
- Select Add New.
- Enter a Title.
- Enter a Start Date.
- Enter an End Date (Optional).
- Check the box for an All Day Event.
- Upload an Image (Optional).
- Add a Description.
Note: If you add a Tithely URL for your event in the Description area this will automatically create a registration button in the app.
- Add your Tithely Event URL.
- Check if this is a Home Address.
- Enter the Event Address if not a home address.
- Check Lat/Longitude Override (Optional)
Note: This feature may be helpful for locations that are not shown correctly with traditional addresses such as campsites.
- Click Save.
