The Admin Batch Giving feature in the Legacy Tithely platform allows admins to manually record transactions, such as cash and check donations, for their organization. Follow the steps below to record these donations efficiently and ensure accurate processing.
Steps to Record Cash and Check Donations

Log into Tithely

From the menu on the left, select Giving.

Click on Admin Batch Giving.
Note: You will be redirected to the Legacy Tithely platform (1.0). -
On the Legacy platform, select Run Transactions to begin entering donations.

Enter Donor Information:
- Input the donor’s details in the Donor Information section, including:
- First and last name
- Member ID (if applicable)
- Email address
- Phone number
- Address (optional)
- You can add a memo or note if needed.
- Input the donor’s details in the Donor Information section, including:

Enter Donation Details:
- Specify the donation amount.
- Select the Giving Type/Fund for the donation (e.g., Missions, Tithes).
- Choose the payment method:
- Cash
- Check
- Debit or credit card (if applicable)
- For checks, include the check number for accurate record-keeping.

To avoid errors, process no more than ten transactions at a time.

Once all details are entered, click Process to submit the batch.

Verify Transactions in Tithely 2.0:
- After processing, return to the Tithely 2.0 platform to confirm that transactions have been recorded:
- Go to People > Giving > Transactions.
- Review the transaction list to ensure that all entries from the batch have been committed successfully.

Additional Tips
- Accurate Record-Keeping: Ensure all donor and donation details are double-checked before processing the batch to maintain accurate financial records.
- Transaction Limits: Keeping to ten transactions per batch minimizes the chance of system errors and ensures smooth processing.
- Post-Processing Checks: Regularly cross-check recorded transactions to identify and address any discrepancies promptly.
