How do I Change my Payment Method

While on the giving form you can easily view all the payment methods you have on file, select an existing one for a donation, or add a new payment method. In this article we will go over how to add a new payment method for gifts and how to remove old payment methods on your account.

 

Adding a Payment Method

  1. From your church's giving form select Payments.
    Note: This is the in the top navigation menu when logged in.
  2. View your existing payment methods.

    • Each payment method entry includes details such as payment type (Card or Bank), last four digits of the card or bank account, and expiration date (only applicable for cards).

    • Expired cards will be marked with the word "Expired."

  3. Select Add New Payment Method towards the bottom of your screen.
  4. Select the type of payment method you would like to add.
    • Card
    • Bank Account
  5. Fill in the required details.
  6. Select Add New Payment Method to add your new payment method.
  7. Once a new Payment Method has been added, it will display in your list of Payment Methods on File and will also be available for making donations with.

Adding a Payment Method (Manual Bank Verification)

  1. From your churches giving form select Payments.
    Note: This is the in the top navigation menu when logged in.
  2. Select Add New Payment Method towards the bottom of your screen.
  3. Select the US Bank account.
  4. Select Enter bank details manually instead (takes 1-2 business days).
  5. Enter the following details: 
    • Routing number
    • Account number
    • Confirm account number.
  6. Select Submit.
  7. A Micro-deposit will be initiated into your bank account within 1-2 business days. 
    Note: You will receive an email once the deposits are completed. There is a ten day verification window, if this is missed you will need to restart this process.
  8. You will receive a confirmation email once you initiate the manual bank verification.
    Note: You can check the status any time by viewing the Payment Method section of the giving form.
  9. Once the deposits are verified you will be able to use the newly added bank account for donations.

Adding a Payment Method (Canadian Pre-Authorized)

  1. From your churches giving form select Payments.
    Note: This is the in the top navigation menu when logged in.
  2. Select Add New Payment Method towards the bottom of your screen.
  3. Select the Pre-Authorized Debit.
  4. Select Enter bank details manually instead (takes 1-2 business days).
  5. Select your bank. 
  6. Enter details:
    • Client Card or Username
    • Password
  7. Once your bank is connected you will be able to make donations immediately. 

Delete a Payment Method

  1. From your churches giving form select Payments.
    Note: This is the in the top navigation menu.
  2. View your existing payment methods.

    • Each payment method entry includes details such as payment type (Card or Bank), last four digits of the card or bank account, and expiration date (only applicable for cards).

    • Expired cards will be marked with the word "Expired."

  3. Click the trash button on the right side of the payment method details.

  4. A popup will appear, asking you to confirm the action.
    Note: If you proceed with the deletion, the payment method will be removed from the list.
