Pledge Campaigns allows you to easily customize your thank you emails for pledgers. 🎉 We’ll guide you through the steps below.

How to Enable and Customize Thank You Emails for Donor Pledges

  1. Login to your Admin account.

  2. Select Giving from the left-hand menu.

  3. Select Pledge Campaigns from the Giving menu.

  4. Find and click on the campaign for whose donor emails you'd like to view.

  5. Click on Notifications.

    This section in Pledge Campaigns is where all email settings are managed, for both donors and admins.

  6. Customize your messages to donors. These contain default text, but the subject and body of the emails are completely customizable!
    Please Note: If a donor has set up a recurring gift, the body text will differ slightly.

    In the “Thank You Messages to Donors” section, you will find:

    • Thank you message after pledging on webpage - this is the text that is seen when a donor makes a pledge, but it is not part of an email.

    • Enable New Pledge Email - toggle on or off. Once toggled OFF, you will no longer see the option to customize the email.

    • Thank you email subject after pledging

    • Thank you email body after pledging

  7. Click Save Changes.
