Overview

An entry in the Activity Dashboard is created for each attempt by the QuickBooks Integration to send deposits to QuickBooks. You can access your Activity Dashboard with the Activity Dashboard link in the top navigation.

There are various things that can happen when trying to send deposits:

  1. Found one or multiple Tithe.ly deposits and sent successfully to QuickBooks Online. Deposit information is recorded and Deposit Details are available.
  2. Found zero Tithe.ly deposits since the last successful run. A "No event was found" notice is displayed.
  3. Credentials to Tithe.ly or QuickBooks has expired. Please reconnect the integration to your QuickBooks Company.
  4. An error occurred. The Integrations Team receives a notice about all errors from the integration. If your configuration settings appear to be correct and the error has not resolved in a few days, please contact us at support@tithe.ly.

Dashboard Filtering

The Activity Dashboard provides a way to know what is happening in the background in our automatic deposit sends to QuickBooks. Each attempt to push to QuickBooks is logged in the Activity Dashboard.

The entries will grow each day. We provide a way to find specific deposits by searching either for the net amount of the deposit or the name of the location. The same field is used for both searches.

Name Search

  1. Enter text in the search field.
  2. Hit Enter on your keyboard.
  3. Deposits associated with locations that contain the entered text will be shown.
  4. To reset the view, clear the search text and hit Enter again or click the Activity Dashboard link in the top navigation.


Net Amount Search

  1. Enter the exact net amount in the search field.
  2. Hit Enter on your keyboard.
  3. Deposits with the equivalent amount entered will be shown.
  4. To reset the view, clear the search text and hit Enter again or click the Activity Dashboard link in the top navigation.

Viewing deposit details

When viewing activity related to deposits in the Activity Dashboard, you can view specific details about a deposit when it is successfully sent to QuickBooks.

To view a deposit's detail, follow these steps

  1. Click the Activity Dashboard link the top navigation.
  2. If the integration has successfully sent deposits to QuickBooks, you will see a green Deposit Detail button for each record.
  3. Click a Deposit Detail button.
  4. Information (payment type, created date, Tithe.ly fund, QuickBooks account, net amount) about the deposit or deposits will be displayed.
  5. Click the Return to Dashboard button to return to the dashboard.
