It is one of our goals here at to make data migration as painless as possible. follow the directions below on how to export information out of your current Shelby Systems account.

Exporting People

  1. Within Shelby, navigate to "Membership" > "Reports" > "Selections and Lists"

  2. Click the wand icon and go through the wizard to create the report.

                 a) Call the report "Tithely People"
                 b) Select Report Group "General"
                 c) Check the "Unsecured" option
                 d) Click "Next"
                 e) Click "Next"
                 f) Check Include "Active", "Inactive", and "Deleted Individuals"
                 g) Check Include "Members", "Prospects", and "Misc. Names"
                 h) Click Next
                 i) Select "Formatted (All)". This will bring up the Formatted Report options window
                              i) Select fields
                                  a) If you are importing contributions please include Name ID #
                                  b) Don't add "Print Custom Information"
                             ii) Check "Print to File"
                             iii) Check "Include Field names in first record"
                             iv) [OK]
                 j) Go through the printing options, check the desired fields.
                 k) Select "No", to the quesiton,"Do you have any other report formats to select?"
                 l) Next
                 m) Next
                 n) Next
                 o) Next (Print All Profile Comments)
                 p) Next (Print All Profiles with Description)
                 q) Should be back at the main report menu
                 r) Run the Report (Running Man Icon)

Exporting Giving

  1. Within Shelby Systems, navigate to "Contributions" > "Reports"

  2. Select the "Contribution List" Report

                 a) Select Print: "Detail"
                 b) Select Sort by: "Name"
                 c) Check "Print Contribution Memo"
                 d) Check "Print Cash Gifts"
                 e) Check "Print Batch Numbers"

3. Select "File" > "Save As" > "Comma Delimited"
