The process for updating your subscription level is quite simple! Here are the steps:

  1. Log onto your admin account

  2. Click on “Subscriptions and Billing” in the upper right corner of your admin screen

  3. Select which subscription you would like from the menu

  4. Either charge the card on file, or enter a new card number in

  5. Finally click "update my plan" at the bottom of the screen

There you have it! Nice and simple. 

Once you've changed your subscription level there is one thing to take note of. 

If you've switched your subscription over from a previous subscription, your first month will be charged a prorated rate. This only happens if you are switching from one paid subscription to another. For example, upgrading from Text Giving to Church Management, or downgrading from from All-Access to Church App. This won't happen to your account if you're starting from the Complete Giving subscription. 

The prorated amount will look something like this:

In this case, this customer had a Text Giving subscription that was being billed on the 16th of each month. On the 5th of the month, the customer upgraded to the Custom App plan. The customer is credited of $6.50 of the unused time of the Text Giving subscription and is charged a prorated amount of $20.19 for the Custom App subscription. This prorated amount covers the time of the 5th to the 16th. On the 16th the customer is charged for next month’s Custom App subscription ($59) plus the difference between the prorated charge and the credit ($20.19 - $6.50 = $13.69) for a total of $72.69. On the following month, the total will only be $59 unless there are further subscription changes between bills.

This proration will only happen the first month that you make the switch. After that, you will be billed the exact monthly subscription amount moving forward. 

Here's how you can update your billing method:

  1. Log onto your admin account

  2. Click on “Subscriptions and Billing” in the left menu

  3. Click on "New Card"

  4. Put in your new card information and click “Update my plan!”

  5. That’s it! Your card has now been updated for the Subscription. Also, if you want to change your subscription level, just click on the plan you would like and follow the above steps as well! 

Note: A message may pop up that says “Thank you for subscribing” you can ignore this message unless you intentionally added a new subscription to your account.
