The Statement Descriptor is the way an organization's name appears on a credit card statement. This descriptor is seen by the card user and helps to identify who a payment/gift/registration was made to on a particular transaction.

Adding a custom statement descriptor can help your donors quickly identify your organization in their card statements. 😃

How to Add a Custom Statement Descriptor for Your Organization

  1. Login to your Admin account.

  2. Select Giving from the left-hand menu.

  3. Select Settings from the Giving menu.

  4. Select your church/campus from the dropdown option.

  5. Click Deposit and Statement settings.

  6. Update your Statement Descriptor.

    Please Note: Statement descriptors are limited to 22 characters, cannot use the special characters <, >, ', or ", and must not consist solely of numbers.

  7. Click the Save Changes button. You're done 🎉
