Tithe.ly gives you two ways to do online giving from your website

You can either use the direct link that takes people to your dedicated online giving form or you can use the preferred method of embedding your Tithe.ly giving form right into your website using our embed code.

Retrieving your Tithe.ly giving form Code:

  1. Login to your Tithe.ly account and click on the "Website Giving" tab located in the left menu. You'll see a page that looks like the below screen shot.

  2. If you have multiple organizations (churches, campuses, ministries, etc) setup in your account, select the correct organization from the drop down located near the top.

  3. Copy the HTML code from the top of the page labeled "Simple Giving Widget."

#1 - Using Giving Form Embed Code

If you'd like to embed the giving form on your website, copy the html code you see located under the "Giving Widget" section. Use that code in your website management tool or provide it to your IT/web admin to implement on your website.

<button class="tithely-give-btn" style="background-color: #26af5f; border: none; color: #fff; padding: 8px 20px; font-size: 15px; cursor: pointer;" data-church-id="XXXXX-ChurchID">Give Online</button>
<script src="
 var config = {};
 var tw = create_tithely_widget(config);

Optional giving button parameters:

The below parameters can be added to the embedded code seen above to allow for some minor customizations to what donors see.

  • data-action : Change the name of the giving button on the form (default is "Give")

  • data-giving-to : Force the giving form to a specific fund/designation (for example, "Conference Fee")

  • data-amount : Force a specific amount (for example, "150" for $150 or "125.99" for $125.99)

If you cannot or don't want to use the embedded method, you can copy your dedicated Tithe.ly giving form URL by scrolling to the bottom of the Website Giving page and looking for the section titled "Direct Link". Your dedicated giving form URL can be copied from there.
