While online giving is both convenient and necessary in our churches today, many people still prefer to give by collection plate. Donations given in this way should not be more difficult to track! With the Tithe.ly Admin Batch Giving tool, you can keep track of these donations and transactions easily. Below you will see how to use Tithe.ly Admin Batch Giving Tool to record both cash and check donations as well as running credit/debit/ACH bank transactions for donors. 

How to use the Admin Batch Giving Tool:

  1. Log into your Tithe.ly Admin Account
  2. Click on “Admin Batch Giving”
  3. Click “Run Transactions”

    4. Insert donor information, email address, payment type, giving type, card                        information (if needed), and any other information you may need. 

    5. Click "Process"

Setting Up Recurring Giving for a Donor

The Admin Batch Giving tool gives you the ability to create recurring giving for a donor. If you have a donor that would like to set this up, but doesn’t have the ability to do it themselves, no problem! Just follow these simple steps: 

  1. Log into your Tithe.ly Admin Account
  2. Click on “Admin Batch Giving”
  3. Click “Run Transactions”

    4. Insert donor information, email address, payment type, giving type, card                        information (if needed), and any other information you may need.
    5. Select “Yes” on Recurring Giving and set a schedule.

      6. Click “Process”

Adding a New Donor

When you add a new donor with Admin Batch Giving there are a few small steps you need to take. You can follow all of the above steps, just make sure and click “Add donor’s name” once you typed the donor’s name. 

Once you add a new donor in, their donor details will populate in the “Contact Management” tab in Tithe.ly and autofill for your convenience in future Admin Batch Gifts!

That’s it! You can add as many transaction as you need. Just head over to your giving statements to see where the transaction have been ran or donations have been recorded.
